The Flame of the Heart als Peus

Next Thursday, October 13, we will inaugurate Imaginart’s “La flama del cor als peus” (The Flame of Heart to Feet), an exhibition that celebrates flamenco culture in Catalonia.

The exhibition features works by artists such as Xavier Miserachs, Francesc Català-Roca, Jacques Leonard, and Eduardo Arroyo, among others, who portray some of the most prominent figures and spaces of flamenco in Catalonia.

Dancers such as Carmen Amaya, Antoñina La Singla, and La Chunga are some of the protagonists of “La flama del cor als peus.” Their footwork, arm movements, and handclapping on Montjuïc mountain, among other emblematic places in Catalonia, bear witness to a genre that has left its mark on the Mediterranean cultural mosaic.
