Exhibition of 13 Ukrainian Artists

On February 24, 2022, Russian troops began their invasion of Ukraine. This date has, among other things, brought about a traumatic change in Ukrainians’ perception of time. Life is now divided between before and after the outbreak of war.
The exhibition organized by Imaginart not only aims to denounce the terrible aggression suffered by the Ukrainian people, but also to facilitate a reunion between fellow artists who used to work together in kyiv before the invasion. Some of them fled to Europe, while others took refuge in safer cities in the country.
At the gallery, we felt it was necessary to ensure that artists had a safe space to showcase their work, a space in which they could defend their identity and culture.
For the exhibition “Point in Time. Monologue,” the voices of these artists resonate and express themselves together once again to describe, through art, the experiences and emotions that have accompanied them since the beginning of the war.
