The Gallery
Located on the border between the Gràcia neighborhood and the Eixample district, Imaginart Gallery is a small refuge for rebellious, transgressive, and defiant art. Our exhibition line has two strands: on the one hand, within the contemporary context, we collaborate with dissident artists whose themes are vulnerable to censorship, such as feminist advocacy or LGBTI+ rights.
On the other hand, we revisit the 20th century to reinterpret great avant-garde artists, whose works also challenged the visual and sociopolitical conventions of their time. In both cases, Imaginart delves into the search for creative languages that question the dictates of society, holding a mirror back to ourselves and urging us to think beyond the established.
From this perspective, for over fifteen years we have been advising private collectors who share our concerns, helping them discover and appreciate works that are not only of high artistic quality but also carry a critical message and an emotional charge that challenges established conventions. Our gallery is not just a space for buying and selling, but a place of dialogue and reflection, where art becomes a tool for social transformation and the questioning of injustices.
Imaginart is, therefore, a space for those who seek art as a means of reflection, as a provocation, and as a tool for change. A gallery where each work has a story to tell, and where creation becomes an act of resistance and freedom.
With over 30 years of experience in the art world, at Imaginart Gallery we specialize in providing detailed and accurate appraisals of each work’s value.
We carefully analyze key factors such as authorship, state of conservation, and market demand, ensuring a thorough and rigorous approach that respects the uniqueness of each piece.

Our trajectory
Imaginart Gallery has been a benchmark in the art scene since its founding in 2007. In 2020, we have consolidated a unique path, characterized by the integration of contemporary art with a critical and militant stance on major social and cultural issues.
Over the past five years, our gallery has been defined by its firm commitment to art as a driver of transformation and reflection. This commitment has allowed us not only to offer high-quality works of art but also to become an essential platform for highlighting artists who address issues of profound social and political relevance.
