A Master of Kinetics

Jordi Pericot is an active part of Catalan art history for his contributions to the research and dissemination of new visual languages, which have led to a rethinking of the conception of art.

His participation in important artist collectives such as the MENTE group or lo GRAV, his dedication to teaching, re-founding and directing the Elisava school and his connection to research in social communication, art and kinetics, from the chairs of Design at the University of Barcelona and of Communication Theory at the Pompeu Fabra University, we consider these to be more than enough reasons to dedicate this exhibition to a part of his work, with the intention of putting our small grain of sand to give the recognition and value that this stage of the artist has for the history of art in Catalonia.
