Jaume Plensa (b. 1955, Barcelona, Spain) is a contemporary sculptor known for his monumental installations that combine body, word, and light. His work is characterized by the use of materials such as iron, glass, and light to create human figures that invite reflection on identity and communication.
Plensa has installed public works in cities around the world, such as the Crown Fountain sculpture in Chicago. His work unites art, architecture, and poetry, creating spaces for contemplation and dialogue.
