On Friday, June 27, the closing ceremony for Núria Martínez Seguer’s exhibition “Femme Femme” took place at Imaginart Gallery

The event culminated in a roundtable discussion that provided a rich space for reflection and dialogue on some of the central themes in the artist’s work: the representation of the female body, eroticism, illness, freedom, and death.

The event was attended by Núria Martínez Seguer herself, as well as Laura Baigorri (professor at the University of Barcelona and curator) and Núria F. Rius (lecturer and researcher in the History of Photography at Pompeu Fabra University). The roundtable was moderated by Elina Norandi, curator of the exhibition.

The event brought to a close an intense and intimate exhibition, where art became a tool for critical thinking and a poetic view of the female body and experience.
