Certain structures in the auditory cortex respond only to musical tones. A significant portion of the brain is involved in coordinating all types of movements, such as dancing or theatrical performances, in which brain regions specialized in oral language and connected to the limbic system provide the emotional component. Thus, the brain develops a visual processing system around the visual arts that generates real or fictional images.

The Miró-Lidó exhibition, by artist Lidó Rico, was born from the Genoarchitectures project, a project he developed in collaboration with neurobiologists and neurophysiologists. It is dedicated to the study of the functioning of the brain. This project has explored the brain from its origin in vertebrates, its basic functions, and at the same time its manifestation in common pathologies.

In this case, Lidó draws on the brain-thought-creation of the great masters of art. From the Holy Trinity to Fauvism, including Tàpies and Munch, Juan Muñoz, and Goya. He thus reconstructs the intimate and reciprocal relationship that exists between centers of thought and artistic creation.
